Launched in January 2024, Maritime Riot is a community-supported listings website for music, arts, and culture in the Saint John area. This site is produced by a small but dedicated production team that actively seeks out events listings, makes edits, and curates listings to provide a simple overview of arts and culture events in the Saint John area.
Maritime Riot is produced with 3 primary objectives in mind:
- To support local artists, venues and organizers bypromoting their events
- To elevate events by emerging artists from diversebackgrounds and under-represented communities
- To make it easier to discover events based on your unique preferences, needs, etc., in a format that is moreuser-friendly than social media
