The Yellow Door is an artist-run centre based in Saint John, NB, providing affordable workspace for artists and creative professionals, with private studios, shared workspaces, and equipment to help you get your creative work done.

Gallery+Studio Space Rental
The Gallery and Studio Space is a 1200sqft room in our Yellow Door Studio and can be booked by the day at affordable rates. This space is ideal for Art Exhibitions, Arts+Culture Events, Meetings, Workshops, Photography, Video, Rehearsals, Recordings, and Collaborative Art Projects.
Includes:
Abundant Natural light with Harbour View, WiFi, Washroom, Running Water, Art Supplies, Access to Colour Printer&Copier, Audiovisual & Photography equipment, and a supportive arts community.
Flexible Rental Rates:
The Warehouse has flexible rental rates to make the space affordable for everyone, starting at $35/day. The Gallery Space has three sections that can rented all together for an exclusive booking, or individually for more flexible pricing. We offer discounts for members and recurring events. Private Studios
Private studio spaces are provided on a monthly or yearly basis, and are subject to a membership agreement and member code of conduct. Pricing of all spaces is based on square footage. A member fee applies for each member who has access to the space.
All private studio members have access to shared amenities, including:
- Secure access
- 24/7 security
- WiFi
- Washroom
- Harbour view (in west-facing spaces)
- Color Printer/Photocopier with booklet capability (folding and stapling)
- Cleaning services
- Garbage collection

FlexDesk Co-Working Space
FlexDesk is an affordable option for artists and creative professionals who need a workspace that is quiet and relaxed, with a view of the harbour, where you can work on your laptop, art projects, and it’s ok to work on messy projects, spill paint, etc. At $10/day, we have a variety of workspaces that are available on a first-come-first-serve basis, including office desks, drafting table, and easels.
FlexDesk space can be booked by emailing yellowdoor@industrialparks.ca. For people seeking access to the workspace on a regular basis, FlexDesk is included in our membership plans.
