The Yellow Door is an artist-run centre, providing affordable workspaces and facilities for artists and creative professionals based in Saint John, NB.
Opened in July 2024 with 3500 square feet in an uptown loft studio, The Yellow Door includes private workspaces, flexible shared spaces, and shared facilities to help you get your creative work done. Studio spaces are provided on a monthly or yearly basis, and subject to a membership agreement and member code of conduct. Pricing of all spaces is based on square footage. A member fee applies for each member who has access to the space.
All studio members have access to shared amenities, including:
- Secure access
- 24/7 security
- WiFi
- Washroom
- Harbour view (in west-facing spaces)
- Color Printer/Photocopier with booklet capability (folding and stapling)
- Cleaning services
- Garbage collection
- Access from 6:00am until 2:00am

The Yellow Door includes 8 private studio spaces with their own secure entry, ranging from $125-$500/month (HST not included).
Shared Studio Spaces

For artists looking for a smaller space in a shared setting, The Warehouse includes smaller studio spaces which are available at $40-$60 per month.
The Warehouse – Project+Event Space
(501a + 501b)
This space has two sections that can be rented separately or together. With 600 square feet combined and lots of natural light, this is an ideal space for workshops, photo sessions, gallery space, art projects, recording, rehearsals, and meetings. Discounts are available for recurring events or workshops.
